Sarah Bishop, M.A., CCC-SLP is a school-based speech-language pathologist based in North County, San Diego. Sarah has over a decade of experience working across all grade levels in public schools. She is a member of her school union’s collective bargaining team and also serves as a school site union representative. In addition to her school-based work, Sarah runs a small solo-therapist private practice providing in-home speech therapy.
Sarah is part Japanese and grew up speaking both Japanese and English until age 5. She attended a Japanese preschool in Japan before moving to the United States to start kindergarten. She is a native English speaker, with basic proficiency in Japanese and Spanish.
Sarah obtained a bachelor’s degree in Art History from the University of California, Irvine, and a master’s degree in speech-language pathology from San Diego State University. She currently works with the Fallbrook Union Elementary School District.
