Katie Jackson is a Supervising Speech Language Pathologist & Behavior Analyst with Communication Across Barriers Speech Clinics. She has nearly 15 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist with a specialty focus on the pediatric population and those with complex communication needs. Katie received her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology at San Diego State University in 2011, and became dually certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2016. Katie has presented at both state level speech language pathology conventions as well as providing local workshops and trainings on an array of topics including AAC (augmentative-alternative communication), Functional Communication Training, and collaborative practices within speech language pathology and behavior analysis. She has travelled to Bosnia, Guatemala, Peru, and Ecuador to assist in treatment and staff training for those who support children with different needs and looks forward to continuing to serve populations both here and abroad in the future.
