Katie is a supervising speech-language pathologist and board-certified behavior analyst at American River Speech Therapy in Gold River. She provides supervision and direct intervention for children with complex communication difficulties in a non-public-school and private clinic setting with an emphasis on autism and associated disorders. She also works with Sacramento-area therapists and school districts on assessments for augmentative/alternative communication and functional behavior assessment. She has a Master of Arts in speech-language pathology from San Diego State University, a Bachelor of Science in speech pathology and audiology from California State University, Sacramento, and board certification in behavior analysis from National University. She lives in Sacramento.
