Call for Session Proposals

Are you passionate about sharing your knowledge and helping others grow in the field? The California Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CSHA) is now accepting session proposals for Convergence 2027 in Long Beach!

This is your opportunity to share your expertise, highlight innovative ideas, and help shape a meaningful learning experience for professionals, assistants, students, and leaders from across the state.

Convergence 2027 Theme: Illuminating Innovation

We encourage you to reflect on how your presentation may connect to this year’s theme. Proposal ideas may include topics that:

Illuminate the vast scope of our practice by sharing how you help increase the visibility of our professions
Innovate through creative presentations, emphasizing active audience engagement and involvement
Illuminate by discussing the latest research supporting our practice
Innovate by suggesting novel ways to adapt assessment and treatment practices to each individual client we serve
Illuminate the multiculturalism of the population we serve
Innovate by proposing ways we can embrace culturally responsive practices
Illuminate the strength and capabilities of differently abled people
Innovate by demonstrating how literacy can be incorporated into assessment and treatment procedures
