Tamisha Tague

Hello my name is Tamisha Tague and I have been an SLPA for over 10 years. I have been a CSHA member for most of that time.I have served as a District representative, SLPA Representative and on the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. I would love the opportunity to support as the SLPA Director. I believe that my experience as an SLPA in both the school and clinical setting will help me support other California SLPAs.I believe that as the SLPA Director I would focus on exposure and more SLPA involvement. It is time for the bridge to be built between SLPs and SLPAs. It does not need to be an “us” against “them”.It is important for us to work together and support one another while we support communication for our clients.I would also work on advocacy. It is important that SLPAs know how to advocate for themselves. I believe I would be a great addition to the Board as the SLPA Director and I thank you for the opportunity.
