As a school-based SLP with over 10 years of experience, I recognize the challenges facing Speech-Language Pathology and CSHA, including diversity & cultural competence, workforce shortages, and continued advocacy at the state and national levels. My approach centers on building community, fostering positive attitudes, and encouraging communication. I’m a member of my school district’s collective bargaining team and a school site representative. I’m also the Director of District 9 and was previously a member of my district’s Advisory and Honors Committee. As Chair-Elect, I would support diversity, engagement, and advocacy to continue amplifying CSHA’s impact.
