Candidate Statement: Hello District 5! I’m Katherine “Katie” Taylor, an acute care medical SLP in Fresno, CA. A CSHA member since 2019, I’ve served on the District 5 Advisory and Honors Recognition Committee for four years. CSHA’s advocacy and sense of community have been inspiring and supportive to me as an SLP. I’m running for District 5 Director to advocate for regional issues like caseload/workload, changes to FEES legislation, and membership recruitment/retention. I’m excited about the opportunity to represent District 5 on the CSHA board and look forward to serving if elected.
