Chidi Chimezie

Director, District 3 (2025-2027)

My name is Chimezie Chidi, and I am honored to serve as your District 3 Director for the 2025–2027 term. I have been a Speech-Language Pathologist for over 20 years and have practiced in a variety of settings, including public schools, charter schools, skilled nursing facilities, and private practice.

My leadership style is rooted in collaboration and open communication. I value teamwork and believe that when we work together and share ideas, we create meaningful progress and stronger connections within our professional community.

I am originally from Berkeley, California, born to immigrant Nigerian parents who instilled in me the values of advocacy, justice, giving back, mentorship, and community. These values have guided me personally and professionally throughout my life. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children, volunteering, reading, dancing, learning pickleball, and playing tennis.

My goals for our District 3 include:

Increasing engagement and networking opportunities for District 3 members.

Hosting social and continuing education events within our district.

Ensuring members are informed and supported with up-to-date association information.

I look forward to connecting with each of you and working together to strengthen our profession and our CSHA community.
