As an SLP, joining the CSHA board aligns with my commitment to advancing our field and supporting the organization’s membership expansion. CSHA offers invaluable opportunities for networking, staying updated on industry developments, and accessing continuing education. Given the diversity of our field, my experience with schools, private practice, insurance, adults, research, and early intervention may serve as an asset to board conversations. Engaging with fellow practitioners allows me to share insights, collaborate on innovative solutions, and advocate effectively for our profession. By contributing to this organization, I aim to enhance our collective impact on person care and address bureaucratic inequities.
