Maxine Van Doren

Maxine Van Doren, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is a voice-specialized speech-language pathologist. She has worked in outpatient clinical settings and private practice treating voice and upper airway disorders. She lives in San Diego and is on faculty at California State University, San Bernardino where her research is focused on the relationship between dysphonia and linguistic structure. Maxine is passionate about increasing awareness of the field and improving information access for prospective students interested in speech-language pathology. In her spare time, she runs www.CSDPostBacc.com to disseminate information preparing for master’s programs in speech-language pathology.
