Ivan is a bilingual speech-language pathologist with Riverside Unified School District. He has experience working with students with diverse needs in early childhood, elementary and secondary school programs. His areas of interest include multilingual language development, culturally responsive assessment and service delivery practices, interprofessional education and practicum, and connecting families to schools. Ivan is a sought-after speaker and author on these and other topics. He is currently chair of ASHA’s Multicultural Issues Board and CSHA District 10 Director and former co-chair of CSHA’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. He has a master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders from Loma Linda University. He resides in Loma Linda.
