Convention Management

Lee works with CSHA to manage its annual convention and expo, and educational offerings, focusing on program development, logistics and event impact. He was previously the senior vice president for communications at the California Charter Schools Association where he oversaw organizational rebranding, the launch of large-scale digital advertising campaigns and creation of a strategic plan. For many years, Lee served as the producer of the California Charter Schools Conference. Lee worked as chief of staff to the president of the Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education, and was a newspaper reporter for 12 years, covering Los Angeles and state politics, education, environmental issues and courts. He has a bachelor’s in journalism from the University of Connecticut.
