Bridging PROMPT Technique to Intervention
Three-day onsite, plus an extensive clinical practicum review. All domains, motor systems, caregiver and support systems will be analyzed and embedded in a total therapy plan that considers the selection of parameters and planes of movement, the development of motor speech goals, lexicon creation and its use and function with significant others as well as the selection of appropriate technique and various levels of prompting. 1.8 CEU’s. The PROMPT Bridging workshop previously was named PROMPT Certification. Our final course is Certification, which is a written format.

Family focused early intervention workshops for SLPs

This three-day workshop provides intensive, small-group training to SLPs who provide services to preschool children with language delays (birth to six years) and their families. Drawing on best practice in terms of adult education, family-centered intervention and early language intervention, the It Takes Two to Talk (ITTT) Workshop gives SLPs the tools to empower parents so they have the knowledge and skills to become their child’s primary language facilitator. Participants receive the ITTT Parent Guidebook and Leaders Guide, the Introduction to Hanen DVD, the ITTT Companion DVD and PowerPoint program slides DVD with embedded video clips, as well as support from Hanen after the workshop.
